A bit About
Kiddie Adventures

We are a play-based academic preschool located in North Logan, UT.

We have one preschool class for children ages 4-5 years old.

There are 2 teachers per class with a class size of
12-15 children.

Tuition costs $200 a month from September through May.

Tuesday through Thursday:
9:15 am - 12:15 pm

Snacks

Each month a child will be assigned a day that is theirs to bring a snack and drink for the entire class. For example, string cheese, capri sun, apples, crackers, fruit snacks,  etc.

Upon request, we can accommodate food allergies as needed.

Our Philosophy

At our preschool we believe in play-based learning. We base our classroom structure off of the nationally accredited Adele and Dale Young Child Development laboratory at Utah State University.

Children learn most effectively through exploring and participating in their environment. Each child has their own interests, talents and self-esteem that must be nurtured and enhanced through their environment.

Through play the children will develop independence, cognitive skills, creative thinking, problem-solving strategies, curiosity, self-help skills and interpersonal skills.

Daily Routine

- Large Group time (singing, dancing, instruments, etc.)

- Free play (including outside play if weather permits)

- Book / snack time

- Small group time

Our preschool offers:
Art and Art Easel
Writing center
Reading center
Dramatic Play
Sensory table
Block center involving manipulatives
Music and movement
Cooking experiences
Outside play
Science experiments

Field Trips

Field trips are offered every two weeks at the end of each theme.

Field trips will include small, local trips (such as a walk to the park, letter walk) and some bigger field trips where parent help and transportation will be needed. For example, at the end of our camping unit we go on a field trip up the canyon where they go on a nature scavenger hunt.

This is a great way to bring learning to life for the children.

I began teaching preschool in 2013 and started my own preschool in my moms basement in 2015. I graduated from Utah State University with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Development.

I observed the Adele and Dale Young development lab and took many classes on preschool curriculum. My love for children and teaching started to grow. I learned what is developmentally appropriate for 3-5 year olds and had a strong desire to spread my passion and love for play-based learning.

Research has shown time and time again that children who participate in play based learning are more successful throughout their life. I want to make sure your child is ready for Kindergarten by incorporating letters, numbers, mathematics, science and literacy through play.

I have a deep love for children and get joy in seeing children succeed. I want to instill a passion and love for learning that lasts throughout your child's life.

I am a wife and mother of three. I have had a love for children since I was a young girl. I have been teaching preschool since 2015.

I love the kids and curriculum that is taught at preschool. As a mom and teacher nothing brings me more joy then seeing the children learn and grow. It has been my personal observation that the children thrive in a learn through play environment. I have a passion and love for music.

I have taught piano lessons for the last seven years. I love leading the music session in preschool, we have a piano that get’s the kids dancing and singing. It brings me so much joy to engage the kids in a welcoming musical environment in which they get to express themselves through music.

I couldn’t be happier as a teacher for Kiddie Adventures preschool and look forward to seeing the kids faces every week.

I started my journey as a substitute teacher when my daughter Sage attended preschool at Kiddie Adventure, and I quickly fell in love with the experience. The joy I felt working with preschoolers was so fulfilling that I decided to join Ashlee and pursue teaching—preschool truly stole my heart! I love being surrounded by young children and witnessing their growth, especially the excitement they feel when they learn something new.

One of the most rewarding aspects of teaching for me is watching the children build friendships and develop a sense of love and care for one another—it’s truly priceless. Outside of the classroom, I’m a proud mom to four kids, who are my greatest joy. I enjoy attending their sporting events and cheering them on every chance I get.

In my free time, I love exploring the outdoors, hiking, biking with friends, and traveling with my husband. Life is short, and I believe in making the most of every moment.

Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your child’s life and development. Their smiles brighten my day and inspire me every time I’m with them!
