Snack

Upon request, we can adhere to food allergies as needed.

Our philosophy

At our preschool we believe in play-based learning. We base our classroom structure off of the nationally accredited Adele and Dale Young Child Development laboratory at Utah State University. Children learn most effectively through exploring and participating in their environment. Each child has their own interests, talents and self-esteem that must be nurtured and enhanced through their environment. Through play the children will develop independence, cognitive skills, creative thinking, problem-solving strategies, curiosity, self-help skills and interpersonal skills.

Field trips

Field trips are offered every two weeks at the end of each theme. Field trips will include small, local trips (such as a walk to the park, letter walk) and some bigger field trips where parent help and transportation will be needed. For example, at the end of our camping unit we go on a field trip up the canyon where they go on a nature scavenger hunt. This is a great way to bring learning to life for the children.
